Alexa suggested Glen Park Vineyards for her and Joe's engagement photos, and it was definitely the perfect choice for them as a couple. When I asked what they enjoy doing together, Alexa said "We really enjoy food and wine, that tends to be the foundation of our date nights. We studied abroad in college and took a class about wine in Italy and have really had a passion for it ever since."
None of us had been there before, but Glen Park Vineyards looked beautiful, so I sent the owners a message asking if they would be open to us using the vineyard for an engagement session and they gave us an enthusiastic "yes!". We started the session inside with some rosé, and while I didn't partake this time, I think I'll definitely be going back on my own to try it out 😊.
What to know about Glen Park Vineyards (for Binghamton wedding photographers and couples)
Glen Park Vineyards is located in Owego, NY (just a short drive from Binghamton) and it made the perfect cozy, woodsy location for early spring engagement photos. The property is tucked away in the woods next to a small creek. Parking is located a little farther up the road in a separate lot, which I loved because it meant there were no cars out front to ruin our photos, and there's a wooden bridge you cross to get from the parking lot to the main building. It wasn't super warm when we were there, but once it warms up I would definitely recommend grabbing some wine, beer, or cider and taking it out to the patio next to the creek for a few photos. Glen Park Vineyards is open Saturdays from 1-6pm and Sunday from 1-5pm.
