Lodging Near The Ginny Lee Cafe at Wagner Vineyards
Wagner Vineyards is open to the public during the day, so they requested that only the wedding party be on site before 5:15 PM, and we could arrive as early as 4 PM. This meant that Jess and Tommy's first look would need to happen somewhere else before we headed over to the venue for wedding party photos. Lucky for us, Little Blue Cottage FLX is right nearby, and it's the perfect place to get ready before your wedding at The Ginny Lee Cafe at Wagner Vineyards. We did Tommy and Jess' first look and some of their portraits by the water and it was gorgeous! I love it when couples getting married in the Finger Lakes are able to get some photos by the water on their wedding day. If you're looking for accommodations close by, Single Island Shores is another rental close to Ginny Lee where I've photographed couples getting ready and it's also really beautiful!
The Ginny Lee Cafe at Wagner Vineyards Wedding Photos
One of the things I love about weddings at The Ginny Lee Cafe at Wagner Vineyards is how many different backdrops there are for photos. The beautiful wooden walkway leading to the cafe, the lush pond area, the vineyards themselves, and the walkway to the ceremony space are all gorgeous.
Wedding Ceremonies at The Ginny Lee Cafe at Wagner Vineyards
Wedding ceremonies at Ginny Lee are absolutely beautiful. I love the winding path down the gentle slope to the ceremony site and how it overlooks the vineyard, and I think the arch Jess and Tommy chose was the perfect choice to ground the space. I also love the curved seating arrangement because it allows all your guests the perfect view without having to twist and turn.
Wagner Vineyards Barrel Room
Another thing I really love about weddings at The Ginny Lee Cafe at Wagner Vineyards is how after your ceremony, they take you to the barrel room for a few photos. It's a nice chance to take a moment for the two of you after your ceremony and the photos among the huge wine barrels are always really sweet.
The Ginny Lee Cafe at Wagner Vineyards Reception Space
The Ginny Lee Cafe's reception space is beautiful and has tons of windows and natural light, and as a wedding photographer, I so appreciate that! The venue can accomodate up to 200 guests, and during cocktail hour guests can mingle outside on the huge wraparound with beautiful views overlooking the vineyard and Seneca Lake.
Cayuga Lake Creamery Ice Cream Truck
After dinner, Cayuga Lake Creamery's Ice cream truck pulled up outside to serve guests ice cream instead of cake, and it was a huge hit (and perfect for a summer wedding).
Wedding Day Fireworks
With the huge wraparound porch at The Ginny Lee Cafe at Wagner Vineyards, it's the perfect venue for a fireworks display for your wedding guests and an awesome way to get the party started.
