Paul and Sheehan's Chenango Valley State Park engagement session was a memorable one for sure. They brought their very good boy, Danger, for some photos, and after he was done we wandered over to the water and onto the docks. I know Paul is a singer, so I asked if he would sing to Sheehan while they danced, and it was so beautiful. Honestly, my only regret from this session is that there is no audio, especially when Paul got his ukelele and they started singing together. Engagement Photos at Chenango Valley State Park (for couples and Binghamton Photographers)
- This is a really popular location with Binghamton photographers and couples in Broome County. I think we saw at least three other photographers while we were there, so take that into account when planning your session. The good news is the park is pretty big, so there are plenty of locations (you just may have to wait for some of them.)
- Bring your pets! Seriously, please. I love animals, and I love having them at sessions. If you do decide to bring a pet, make sure you bring a helper along. Pets can get tired quickly, and are usually only up to taking photos for a little bit. Also, we'll still want some photos of just the two of you, so once your pet is tired out we'll hand them back over to your helper for the rest of your session. OR, if you have pets that you can't really bring with you (think chickens, horses, etc.) consider doing all or part of your session at your house. I'm totally up for that too!
- Tie in your hobbies. If you have a hobby that you love to do together, let's incorporate it! Paul brought his ukelele to this session, but maybe you love to hike, or you break out your kayaks every chance you get. Let me know what you love to do and we'll find a way to make it work!
